This Refund and Billing Policy explains how payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment-related issues are handled for WOTA Network paid Services, if and when such Services are offered.

By purchasing or maintaining a paid WOTA Network plan, feature, verifier service, receipt-anchoring service, or partner access product, you agree to this Refund and Billing Policy together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Current Public Positioning

As of the current public site, WOTA.Network is publicly presented as a trust / verification network and app flow, not as a public retail membership storefront with clearly posted subscription plans on the main domain. This policy is intended to govern optional paid services, partner services, verifier services, receipt retention / anchoring services, or future subscriptions if offered.

2. Paid Services

If offered, paid Services may include:

  • verification services,
  • partner or relying-party access,
  • verifier or issuer access,
  • receipt retention or anchoring services,
  • premium dashboards,
  • enterprise setup or support,
  • premium modules,
  • related support or setup fees.

Plan details, prices, included features, and limits will be shown at checkout or in the applicable service flow.

3. What a Paid Service Covers

A paid fee covers only the features or services expressly included in the purchased plan or package.

A paid fee does not guarantee:

  • universal third-party acceptance of any receipt,
  • uninterrupted service,
  • success of every verification attempt,
  • continuous availability of every third-party provider,
  • legal sufficiency or regulatory approval of your workflow.

4. Billing Cycle

Paid plans may be offered on a monthly, annual, one-time, usage-based, or other billing basis as shown at checkout.

If payment is made through wallet-funded, crypto, or stablecoin methods, payment may require user action each billing period unless an auto-renew method is clearly presented and affirmatively selected at checkout.

5. Renewals

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, wallet-based or crypto-paid plans do not automatically renew through stored payment credentials.

If a plan requires manual renewal and payment is not submitted on time, paid access may expire, pause, or revert to a lower-access state.

If a separate auto-renewing payment method is offered in the future, that auto-renew feature will apply only where clearly shown and affirmatively selected.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring paid plan through your account settings, if available, or by contacting help@wota.network.

If your plan uses manual renewal, you may also simply choose not to renew.

Cancellation prevents future renewals only. It does not create a refund for an already-started billing period unless required by law or expressly approved by WOTA Network.

7. Refund Policy

Except where required by law, paid subscription fees, setup fees, service fees, and membership fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period begins or the paid service work has started.

Unless we state otherwise in writing:

  • we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time,
  • we do not provide refunds because you chose not to use the Services after payment,
  • we do not provide refunds based solely on changed business plans, changed integration plans, or preference changes.

8. Limited Exceptions

At our sole discretion, we may review refund requests in limited cases such as:

  • duplicate charges,
  • accidental duplicate purchases,
  • confirmed billing errors caused by us,
  • paid features that were unavailable due to a verified platform-side failure we could not correct within a reasonable period,
  • other situations where applicable law requires a refund.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.

9. Failed, Delayed, or Incomplete Payments

If a payment is not completed, is declined, underpaid, delayed, reversed, sent on the wrong network, or otherwise fails, we may:

  • suspend or limit access to paid features,
  • downgrade or pause an account,
  • cancel or lapse the affected paid plan if payment remains unresolved.

You remain responsible for ensuring that the correct amount is sent on the correct network or rail.

10. External Network and Wallet Costs

Wallet-based or blockchain-related payments may involve:

  • gas fees,
  • bridge fees,
  • network congestion,
  • failed broadcasts,
  • delayed confirmations,
  • third-party wallet errors,
  • wrong-chain or wrong-token payments.

Unless required by law or caused solely by our confirmed billing error, these external costs are generally non-refundable by WOTA Network.

11. Taxes

Fees may exclude applicable taxes, duties, levies, or similar governmental charges unless otherwise stated at checkout.

You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase, except taxes based on our net income.

12. Price Changes

We may change pricing, plan structures, limits, or billing terms prospectively.

Updated pricing or plan changes apply to future purchases or future renewal periods, not to already completed billing periods, unless clearly disclosed and permitted by law.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a payment error occurred, contact help@wota.network first.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through a third-party processor or provider, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate affected access while the issue is under review and to contest the dispute where appropriate.

14. Third-Party Payment Providers

Payments may be handled in whole or in part by third-party providers, wallet tools, processors, onramp services, or infrastructure vendors.

We are not responsible for third-party outages, wallet failures, issuer decisions, or network-level failures. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Account Access After Expiration or Nonpayment

If a paid plan ends because of non-renewal, cancellation, or incomplete payment, access to paid features may be limited or removed.

We may retain certain billing, account, support, audit, and operational records as reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling, compliance, backup, fraud prevention, and legal purposes.
